In this introductory session, we will cover the overall goals of the training. This will set the pace for an interactive experience; a collegial atmosphere; a safe place where everybody can participate and contribute. Here we will review the basics. You will learn what makes a high-tech company unique in the world of global benefits. We will go over the key differences in employee benefit plans/schemes, including for local nationals, expatriates, and third-country nationals, and what defines them. This will serve as a foundation for the upcoming sessions.
