Kenneth Imo is the Global Head of D&I for Adobe, and has almost two decades of experience leading diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) across international law firms and financial services institutions including Capital One and Fannie Mae. During his career, Kenneth has been nationally recognized as a DEI leader and has authored several publications to include a book for the American Bar Association entitled, “Fix It: How History, Sports, and Education Can Inform Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity Today.”
Kenneth began his career as a captain in the United States Air Force Judge Advocate General Corps. In the Air Force Kenneth learned the importance of leadership, followership, and the power of storytelling by using evidence, facts, and data as a trial lawyer – skills he also leverages as a DEI practitioner.
Kenneth got his law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law where he met his wife, Jennifer. He earned a football scholarship to attend Southern Methodist University where he graduated with a double major in Economics and History. As an athlete, Kenneth learned the importance and power of working collaboratively and inclusively as a team.
Kenneth is a first-generation American who was born and raised in Houston, Texas to Nigerian immigrant parents. Kenneth, Jennifer, their three daughters – Olivia and twins Cecilia and Juliet – and dogs Julio Jones and Sir Lewis Hamilton (“Louie”) live in Alexandria, Virginia. He enjoys reading, writing, exercising, and a great dining experience with family and friends.
