Lena Hunsinger is a Lead Director in the Clinical Business Support team of Aetna’s Sales Enablement organization. Lena has more than 30 years of healthcare advance analytics, Underwriting and Plan sponsor Consulting experience. She has an extensive background in total health cost containment, population health management, health equity solutions, and in measurement of care management interventions.

Lena partners with sales and account teams in Commercial & Specialty market business to drive customer growth. She specializes in developing and delivering population health and cost opportunity/savings analyses, and case studies in support of prospects and retention opportunities for key customer meetings, strategy meetings with focus on population health and cost containment strategy for all Commercial National Accounts, Enterprise Accounts, Public & Labor segments. She owns execution of Plan Sponsor analytic and consulting strategy aligned to Aetna’s Advocate model.

Lena leads our Health Equity Solutions – Centers of Excellence team in Aetna’s Sales Enablement organization. This multi-disciplinary team supports our thought leadership resources and the expanded Plan Sponsor health equity reporting for Commercial plan sponsors. She leads the Clinical Business Support - Health Equity Win Room on solution discussions to grow and maintain the library of solution options to address an expanded customer focus.

Previously, she led the team approach for Analytic Consultants who analyze medical cost trends, health equity and population health opportunities for our National Account and Healthcare (Hospital) customers and her team was responsible for delivering health plan performance reviews with solutions to our customers. For the past 7 years, Lena was a keynote speaker at Aetna’s Healthcare Business - Customer forum.

Lena holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, PA.
