The traditional healthcare system was not built to equitably support the health and well-being of underrepresented communities. But an opportunity exists for employers to support and improve their employees’ health — by leaning into strategies that support access to high-quality care, help them navigate the complex, fragmented healthcare system, and empower members through education and preventive care awareness.
 
Diversity, equity, and inclusion have been a longstanding commitment for Best Buy, and in 2021 they joined a group of leading organizations to address health inequities for the Black community. This session will share learnings from the Black Community Innovation Coalition (BCIC), a partnership between seven employers, including Best Buy, and Included Health to improve the healthcare experience and advance health equity for the Black community.
