Keia Johnson is an attorney, strategist, and advocate with a passion for strengthening disinvested communities. She serves as Director of Strategy for Best Buy’s Strategic Community Engagement Team, where she advises on issues impacting the community and devises ESG strategies to support Best Buy’s DEI goals. Most recently, she served as Director of Federal and Regulatory Engagement at The Society for Human Resource Management where she led the organization's regulatory policy agenda and engagement with senior administration officials. Keia has several years of experience in nonprofit leadership and governance. She previously served as Counsel & Director of Corporate and Government Relations at The Mississippi Museum of Art and Legislative Director at the ACLU of Mississippi. During law school she held notable clerkships with The Committee on Homeland Security, The Office of FCC Commissioner Mignon Clyburn, and Tyson Foods Office of Government Affairs. She is a native of Eudora, AR, and a proud graduate of Jackson State University (A Historically Black University) and The University of Arkansas at Little Rock School.
