Description

Summary: Employers have thankfully recognized the need for benefits that support working parents. However, many still overlook other family care situations that more than 20% of their
employees are facing.

Employees continue to be in caregiving roles across all life stages and are increasingly supporting loved ones in multi-generational or non-traditional family units.  The prevalence of caregiving is growing, and caregiver demographics are becoming younger and more diverse. Time of life, socioeconomic status, cultural identity, and other factors all impact what kinds of support caregiving employees need.

Care situations may look different for each family, but one thing remains constant: caregiving takes a toll. Inclusive caregiving support is key to meeting the needs of today’s workforce and helping all employees thrive in their roles.
