William Meijer is a Senior Manager of Benefits at Airbnb. He leads a team responsible for designing and building benefit programs that support Airbnb employees and their families, and help achieve Airbnb’s mission of belonging. As an actuary, William loves numbers and leverages data and analytics to help make sense of the world. He finds fulfillment in seeing the positive impact his team’s work has on people’s lives, and appreciates the intersection of people and data experienced through his work.

Prior to joining Airbnb, William was a Director at Willis Towers Watson, working with employers across a variety of sectors to develop strategies to maximize the value of their benefit programs and meet the objectives of their organization.

Away from work, William enjoys running marathons, biking, soccer and being outdoors. He gets competitive when playing board games with friends and enjoys the nostalgia of classic video games. When he’s feeling social he loves to host dinners and move to the rhythm of Latin music.
