Poornima Sarkar is a Director in Fidelity’s Talent Management and People Analytics practice. Poornima works with clients on benefits listening and other analytical initiatives. Her experience spans a broad range of consulting activities including benefits equity focus groups and engagement surveys, pay equity modeling, compensation, and benefits optimization using conjoint modeling.

Prior to joining Fidelity, Poornima was the Senior Manager of Data Analytics and Reporting at Sullivan Cotter, managing national compensation and benefits benchmarking surveys for the healthcare industry. She was also responsible for leading pay equity and employee engagement projects for healthcare and not-for-profit charities, educational institutions, and foundations.

Poornima has a bachelor’s degree in information systems from Stella Maris College in India, an MBA from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies in India with a concentration in information systems and a Ph.D. in Management Information Systems, with a minor in Survey Research Methods from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
